I saw this quote and I knew I wanted to make it for a Christmas Card...so in keeping with my funny themed Christmas Cards...I made it. The front of the card features Santa holding some presents. I was lucky to find this 12X12 sheet featuring Santa in my stack. So the only thing i needed to do on the front was add some glitter glue to the presents and then using my Label Maker I wrote the sentiment "The awkward moment when Santa....". Now the inside was a little more complicated. Since this card was designed all around the sentiment I had to make sure the presents on the inside matched the presents on the outside. For the most part they do. Here is what I did. Using the Create-A-Critter 2 cartridge I made the presents with the polka dots. I cut the green one at 2.75, The Pink at 2.00 and the little white one at 1.25". For the other presents with the Striped I used the Cricut Imagine Snow Angel cartridge. I used this in my E2, which is very nice to be able to use since the imagine is discontinued. I cut only the present and bow of this image. It features a little piece of holly which I did not use. I cut two of each of the present part since I needed the base and the stripes. Using a cutter i cut the striped in different widths. I then used the bow from this image. I cut these at 3.75", 2.0" 1.5" On all the bows I used Martha Stewart glitter markers to give it some sparkle. I used my label maker for the inside sentiment " ...Has the same wrapping paper as you mom.". On the front and inside i used some random embellishments to finish the card off.
